Grand Theft Auto Online kicks off its Brand Wars event this week, splitting Los Santos into two rival camps as Sprunk and eCola fight for control of the city through a mix of races, jobs and freemode chaos. This event week runs from August 13 through August 19, 2026. Picking a side starts outside the game.
Players can connect their Rockstar and Twitch accounts and watch selected streamers aligned with Team Sprunk or Team eCola between August 13 and 26 to earn Brand Wars Twitch Drops.
Depending on which streams they watch, players can unlock the Sprunk Sweatsuit or the eCola Tracksuit, plus up to GTA$2,000,000 total across the drop period. On top of that, simply logging into GTA Online any time before August 26 gets players a free Declasse Hotring Sabre painted in the green and red Sprunk x eCola livery, complete with branded plates. Matching Sprunk and eCola bodysuits are also free from clothing stores around the city for the duration of the event.
Racing is where the real money is this week. Hotring Races held at the Legion Square Featured Series corona pay out 4X GTA$ and RP through August 26, making it worth digging out that free Sabre or picking up the Bravado Hotring Hellfire and Karin Hotring Everon , both Hotring-eligible cars and both 40% off through August 19. Freemode Challenges and Events are paying the same 4X multiplier during this stretch, rewarding anything from ambushes to spontaneous shootouts out in the open world.

There's also a new addition to the Community Series lineup called Grindhouse Bowling III, built by creator SmurfinUSA. It's a team deathmatch variant with a twist, players switch teams mid-match and battle across two different arenas. It's live now, and along with the rest of the Community Series playlist of races and melee deathmatches, it pays triple GTA$ and RP through August 26.
This week's specific Weekly Challenge asks players to complete three Business Battles between August 13 and 19. Finishing that nets the Impotent Rage Sweatsuit plus GTA$250,000. A second challenge tied to winning three races runs the following week, from August 20 to 26, with its own separate reward of the Princess Racing Tracksuit and another GTA$250,000, though that one falls outside this week's window.
For players who'd rather skip the combat and racing altogether, a handful of Odd Jobs are paying triple GTA$ and RP this week too. That includes running a Paper Route, working as a Firefighter, hauling pallets as a Forklift Operator, handling high-value Safeguard deliveries, and making drug store runs for QuickiePharm . These are lower-stakes ways to stack cash fast without dealing with rival players.
